That was fun. Level 37 was way more difficult than anything before or after, though, I think it's sheer luck that I ever managed to save both of them! Though considering the "reward" for saving everyone, maybe I should've just let my cousin die. 😆

I was kinda' disappointed how having the upper and lower objects move at different speeds was underused, though. That was a pretty fun gimmick, trying to figure out how to get the top and bottom to coordinate.

Yeah, it was very much a one-weekend development project, so I probably didn't exploit all the mechanics as much as I could have, and certainly didn't balance the progression properly!

can i play the playdate games on pc?

There's a Playdate Simulator as part of the Playdate SDK you can download from the official Playdate site that can be used to play packaged games. That said, it's a bit of a miserable experience for anything like this game which uses the Playdates Crank input as the primary gameplay mechanism as there's not really a good substitute for it as part of the standard PC input.

ok
i don't understand
but ok

Seems like it crashed on one of the later levels upon attempted completion, but otherwise a fun game :)

Thanks for the crash report!

Not entirely sure what that could be. The only thing I've got an inkling that it could be related to is an odd SDK bug relating to collision routines that is an absolutely nightmare to get to reoccur consistently. I'll try sticking the work around I'm using in another project into this when I get a minute.

I try it it’s pretty COOL

Amazing artwork.  If playing on SDK, make sure to update it.  If you do, it works really well and has fun gameplay concept.
